Radiation Therapist – Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | No Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety and clinical protocols
• Position patients accurately for treatment and ensure proper delivery of prescribed radiation doses
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the clinical care team throughout the treatment process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
• Active Kansas Radiation Therapist license (RADTHER-KS) required
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy – ARRT(T) required
• Credentialing documentation must be submitted and completed prior to start date
• Overtime must receive pre-approval before being worked

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a travel therapy or multi-site clinical setting
• Familiarity with a variety of radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems
