DescriptionWe are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented React Native Developer to join our team to begin or continue an exciting and challenging career.This hybrid position requires onsite attendance in Ashburn, VA 1-2 times per week. Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop engaging, intuitive and reusable React Native components Use modern software engineering tools including VS Code, Gitlab, and Atlassian Suites for ticketing and documentation, development, and testing software.Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews in conjunction with the Technical Lead, and document the design according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodologyUnderstand how to interface with Native code on Android and iOS from React NativeCode unit tests and end-to-end test using the framework of choice of the team.Participate in daily scrums and code reviewsMentor junior developers in React NativeKeep up to date with React Native technology updates and trends QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree and 10 years or more of related experience. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven Mobile development experience using React NativeNative iOS, Android Some Detox experienceTypescriptConstructing and debugging CI/CD build Pipelines for mobile targetsUnderstanding how REST APIs workUnderstanding of Micro Service ArchitectureUnit Test and End-to-End test developmentDesired Skills and Experience:Experience using RTK Query is a plusUnderstanding how containerization and orchestration Tools workExperience working on an agile team such as ScrumStrong communication skillsPositive attitudeEagerness and ability to learn autonomously Potential to leadExhibit excellent critical thinking, problem solving and listening skillsCustomer Requirements:Clearance – Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background InvestigationCitizenship – Must be a US CitizenLocation – Hybrid with on-site (Ashburn, VA) visits 1-2 days per week and if a mission need.Job Field: SoftwareTravel: No
